Education

F.I.T. believes an important service for the Trust is to provide education to its members. The Trust hopes every member will take the initiative to control long term insurance cost by understanding the group purchasing mechanism, coverages, loss control services and all components of the insurance world that increase cost. To assist our membership in understand these elements F.I.T. provides several tools.

1. The Trust publishes and distributes a quarterly newsletter, FIT News, on topics of interest and distributes them to our membership on a quarterly basis.
2. The Trust provides online claims access to any member who wishes to utilize this service.
3. The Trust hosts an annual educational conference in October of each year to discuss all the aspects of the Trust from the previous year and looking ahead to the upcoming year.

These services allow the membership to be an educated consumer which directly impacts premium costs for the Trust.
