As we enter the 2010-2011 policy year, the Board of Directors and I would like to express our appreciation for your continued support and recognition of the Florida Insurance Trust (FIT) and our high quality products and services. Under the leadership of Non-Profit Insurance Services, program administrator, we have continued to experience steady growth and financial security.

FIT currently offers great coverages including our new FIT Health program. I invite you to contact John Orebaugh, Director of Membership Benefits to see how FIT can assist you in receiving savings in this area. If you do not currently have all your lines of coverage with FIT, I invite you to submit your account for review to see how the FIT program can provided superior protection and savings. The FIT program currently offers Workers’ Compensation, Property, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Professional Liability, Directors & Officers Liability, and Employee Health Benefits.

This issue of FIT News finds us in the heart of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. I encourage each of you to make sure your organizations and families are prepared. Jane O’Connor’s provides an excellent check list to assure we are all prepared. I challenge all of you to review and update your organization’s emergency preparedness policies.

In conclusion, I hope to see you at the 2010 Florida Insurance Trust Educational Retreat on Thursday, October 21st through Friday, October 22nd. We have changed our format this year and will be beginning at 1pm on Thursday. High quality speakers have been selected to deliver presentations on vital topics facing many of us as leaders and members of Florida’s non-profit community.
