Dr. Josephy AnielloAs we enter the fourth year of the Trust, the Board of Directors and the staff of Non-Profit Insurance Services thank you for your continued support and confidence. We are dedicated to developing customized products and providing high quality service. Today, FIT continues to see steady growth and financial security, while remaining the only nonprofit pool in the state of Florida.

I invite you to take advantage of the great resources in this edition of FIT News. Particularly, Barbi L Feldman’s article The ADA Link to Workers Compensation highlights the costly mistake of not recognizing how American Disability Act (ADA) comes into play with workers compensation claims. It is vital to have a clearly defined return to work policy and I encourage all of you to review your organizations policy.

There are many exciting things upon the horizon. We are looking into the development of group health care product to provide the members of FIT with a stronger, cost effective alternative. We will provide more detail as this comes into tuition. Preparations for our Third FIT Educational Retreat and other educational opportunities have begun. It is a very exciting time in the history of FIT.

As always, we encourage your input and ideas as we continue to grow our insurance program and services. For those of you who are considering participation, we welcome your inquires and look forward to you becoming a member.
